Neo Vilakazi

Artistic Director/Producer

Neo Vilakazi is a Composer & Producer who has lived and worked in Edinburgh for 30 years. He is passionate about offering marginalised artists meaningful opportunities to participate in the arts, and in theatre in particular.

Ramscise Modie

Producer and DJ

Ramscise Modie is a talented young black producer, musician and DJ who is sought after by many musicians working in Scotland’s music scene. He has worked tirelessly with the composer to create a fusion of afro-beat, isicathamiya, kwaito and African Gospel to produce a sumptuous and authentic sound-track for the show.

Oratile Letsholo

Artistic Support Oratile ‘Tilly’

Tilly has been involved with Neo Productions from the beginning and is an extremely competent and experienced artist and choir leader. She has been crucial in training the singers and dancers for our previous shows.

Nandi Sawyers Hudson

Assistant to Creative Director

Nandi Hudson is one of Scotland's hot property actresses. She portrayed Gwendoline Starr at age 16 in Army of Thieves, with her most recent film role being in Greatest Days. Hudson is represented by Strange Town out of Edinburgh, UK, and Army of Thieves was her first role in a feature film and her first break was The Nest.

Mhairi Gray

Social Media Manager

Mhairi Gray is a young university graduate who has recently joined the Neo Productions team under the Kickstart Youth Employment Programme, specialising in marketing and communications with our partner organisations and venues.

Sharmella Summan

Cast

New to the world of performance and joining this exciting project as an amateur I have felt very welcomed and supported to develop by a talented community. As a doctor in general practice, a community gardener and board member of a local community charity I feel passionately about the importance of such projects for connecting diverse peoples, story telling, providing opportunities for development and most of all for the JOY!

Zanele Ndlovu

Choreographer

Zanele Ndlovu is a South African Performing Artist currently in Theatrical Plays, triple threat who got training from Ekhaya Multi Art Centre. Productions she has been in are: ‘Sarafina’, ‘In My Own Voice’, Gibson Kente's ‘How Long’, ‘Shona the Musical’ and most recently Disney’s ‘The Lion King’ UK and Ireland tour.

Benitha Iradukunda

Ambassador

Benitha Iradukunda - a first generation migrant from Kigali, Rwanda. She has a background in public sociology leading her to develop a career in activism for the black community in Edinburgh and she now has continued her career as a justice worker. She has previously used her skills to combine her love for arts and poetry hosting an online community podcast page on instagram which holds a safe space for people to discuss all things black and Scottish while showcasing some of the black poets within Scotland including some of her own poems.

Zinhle Wycherley

Cast (Winnie Mandela)

Zinhle is a Law Student/ Actress/ Singer/ Model and much more. She plays Winnie Mandela in 10 Times Beautiful.

Tinofara

Cast

Tinofara is a highly experienced marketing professional who has worked with global tech companies, well-known brands, and celebrities across North America, the Middle East, and Europe. In addition to her marketing expertise, she is also a talented singer. From a young age, she has participated in various singing, dancing, and acting productions in Scotland and London. She is passionate, driven, a natural team player, and undeniably cool!

Noomi Anyanwu

Cast (Anna Mchunu)

Noomi Anyanwu is an anti-racism trainer and co-founder of Black Voices Austria. Additionally, she is a singer and has been artistically active since she was a child. In her work, she has consulted art houses, like the prestigious Burgtheater in Vienna, or offered her critical lens to other music projects for script and concept. You can listen to her music on @thisinoomi on TikTok and other Social Media platforms.

Kholwani Vilakazi

Costumes

Kholwani sources all the costumes for the production coming from a background in design in South Africa.

Blair Wycherley

Growth Director

Blair supports the business growth from a commercial perspective with his background in finance, sales and marketing.

Fiona Campbell

HR Director

Fiona manages the HR and administration for 10 Times Beautiful - she brings more than 20 years of experience from within the sector.

Lucy

Cast

Dancing has always been an important part of Lucy’s life. She started when she was young, learning traditional Chinese dance, which gave her a love for movement and expression. For the past two years, she has been dancing Latin styles like bachata and salsa. These dances bring joy and a sense of connection, whether it’s with others or through the music itself. They have become a big part of how she relaxes and expresses herself.

Viv Latifa

Cast

I am a Singer-songwriter and dancer from Togo and Italy, now based in Edinburgh. My first released has placed me in the Scottish music scene. My music is a mix of R&B and Afro-Latin music that reflects my multicultural background. My records have been broadcasted on BBC Radio 1xtra, part of The UK Touchdown programme, hosted by DJ Target, while Jambo Radio broadcasted as my new release “Highs and lows”. I am currently working on my Debut Album, which I am quite excited about, knowing that this is definitely a shift and redirection of my music career.

Patience Tariro Bhiri

Cast

A distinguished graduate in events management, I had the honor of performing at the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2015, showcasing a captivating Bollywood love story, as well as participating in the Edinburgh Mela during its vibrant run. I was also a contender in the Face of JD Sports competition. Currently, I am a proud member of a Bollywood dance troupe, delighting audiences with our performances for Diwali at the Ross Bandstand on Princes Street. Additionally, I showcased my talents at the Elevate Dance Events in Glasgow and serve as a dance instructor for hen parties in Edinburgh.

Phindile Duma

Cast Member (Eve)

Phindi also known as Blcq Almond is a young black female South African artist, who grew up in the Irish and Scottish communities. Blcq Almond has made her mark as a singer and actress within those communities. Prior to moving to settle in Scotland 7 years ago, I had worked as a youngster in acting roles such as The Wizard of Oz and Annie and many other shows as part of the Gaeity Young Actors Training Programme in Dublin.
